Spring Summer 2015 is all about the power of pattern and how print is important as a decorative element. As we step into spring, our Palm House story takes inspiration from tropical paradises – think bold striking patterns with exotic elements.
I love these tropical bold colours. We are restyling our home and this gorgeous bed linen will fit right in with my colour scheme and perfect for all seasons.
Our Orchid Bed linen is a beautiful floral print that has been taken from our archive. Given a brand new lease of life, we added a painted hummingbird motif flying in amongst the orchids and the tropical foliage to give it a fun unexpected element to the design. The hummingbird theme continues across the range with the beautifully hand beaded and embellished cushion, which when combined with our Francesca Orchid cushion it will certainly add a fun update any room this season.

This shop is always on my "must visit" when we are in Brighton.
Situated in Bond Street, smack bang in the middle of the buzzy North Laine.
Here you will find an eclectic mix of carefully sourced home accessories, jewellery, and fashion including vintage inspired home wares, beautiful painted crockery, reclaimed frames, pretty lingerie & nightwear, shoes, leather bags, perfumes, scented candles, artwork...and pretty much anything else that takes our fancy.We opened our shop in 2003 and have established a loyal following, both amongst our locals and Brighton visitors. We believe in good old fashioned customer service, and strive to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Everything can be gift wrapped free of charge.
They have recently opened a beach front shop in Kings Road Arches, which is also full of treasures.

An Angel at my Table
I stumbled on this store by accident while looking for a wedding present.
An Angel at my table is a family run business: six people and one dog! They started life in 1997 as a shop in Essex, England selling painted furniture and French style accessories. They then moved to the countryside to concentrate on their labour of love, sourcing and designing the most exquisite English and French furniture along with the most stylish interior accessories with a difference!
The accessories section is whimsically laid out with categories such as 'Whiter shade of pale' which has the cutest white house tea light holders, Boho crochet throws and white porcelain swallows to decorate ornate white plaster frames with. 'Exotica' is full of brightly coloured bird cushions, bird wall sconces and butterfly plates. In the furniture section there are great painted wooden dining chairs that can be custom painted in the colour of your choice. I've got my eye on the classic English fiddleback chair, which I would love in duck egg blue!
